Analyzing Multiplex Experiments
Delta2D supports electrophoresis technologies that generate multiple images per gel. One of these is DIGE (Fluorescence 2D Difference Gel Electrophoresis), where multiple samples are labelled using different fluorescence stains and then comigrating on a single gel. For DIGE experiments, Delta2D supports all experimental setups, including those using an internal standard.
To learn more about multiplexing, please read on in our Academy area. There is also a DIGE version of our the Getting Started guide.
We recommend using the Refraction-2D labels for multiplexing, since they have been proven to be both sensitive and affordable. They are furthermore available as a set with Delta2D Consumable which is called 2DXPLORER. For licensing options please have a look here.
