Supported image file formats

GasPedal supports virtually all image file formats on the market today, including TIFF (8 bit, 12 bit, 16 bit), IMG (GE, formerly Fuji), GEL (GE), JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG, PNM.

Supported Operating Systems

GasPedal runs on Windows 10/8/7, Mac OS X 10.7.3 (or higher) and most flavours of Linux.
We recommend to use a 64 Bit version of Windows 10/8/7, Mac OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) or newer or Linux.

Hardware Requirements

Minimum Hardware: PC or Intel-based Mac with 4 GB RAM
Recommended Hardware: Dual or Quad Core Processor with 2 GHz or better, 8 GB RAM or more, in combination with a 64-Bit operating system. The more data sets / images you compare in one project, the more RAM will be used.

We recommend to use a large screen.
