Get remote assistance for Delta2D
With Delta2D's remote assistance, you can let our support staff see
your screen via internet. We have found that we can resolve
problems much faster when we can see directly what's going on. Of course, you'll
have to give explicit permission before your screen is transferred. Please keep
in mind that remote assistance is generally available during our office hours
(9 a.m. - 6 p.m. Central European time) only.
Follow these steps to get remote assistance:
- In Delta2D, choose "Get remote assistance ..." in the Help menu.
If you are not able to start Delta2D you can choose "Get remote assistance ..." from the start menu next to Delta2D.
- Press the "Start Netviewer" button.
- Let us know that you need assistance either by giving us a call or sending us an email (Don't forget to include your phone number or skype ID so that we can reach you).
- Our support will call you and give you a "session number".
- You enter the session number. This will open a new window.
- Our support will ask you to show your screen. Please confirm this.
- You present your question or problem by showing it on your own screen.
Delta2D's remote assistance is based on Netviewer, a proven web
conferencing technology. We have chosen Netviewer since it provides
not only convenience but also safety regarding both
confidentiality of your data and integrity of your network.
